Happy April!  It's a weird time of year when one day I see landscaping companies with leaf-boxes on their trucks, and outfitted with rakes and spring clean-up implements, and the next they have salters and plows.  While it all feels like an April Fools Day joke, the truth of the matter, whether you are in landscaping, HVAC, building, tree services, or general contracting, the weather is giving us a bit of whiplash.

If you are in an industry that ramps up hard in the spring and summer months, shifting from winter to warmer weather can be especially challenging. Going from a relatively small team during winter months to adding two, three, or perhaps even dozens of new employees in a short amount of time takes immense planning and is a critical part of the business.  That is why it's so important to create replicable systems and provide consistent training to make the transition as smooth as possible, for both your new hires and your core team.
