Here we are—the last day of 2024. I don’t know about you, Priscilla, but I feel like I’m skidding into 2025 sideways after one wild, action-packed chase scene.

I’m popping into your inbox because we’ve crossed paths through Blazing Trails—as a client, a colleague, a trusted referral partner, or a friend. I say this every year, but this year especially, I am so deeply grateful to have you in my circle.

While 2024 was one of my most successful years, as you know, success doesn’t come without challenges. Through those challenges, I leaned on an incredible network of people like you to keep me moving forward.

Here’s a look at what we accomplished together this year:

Blazing Trails Coaching Highlights

  • Client Wins:
    • Increased client revenues by over 30%.
    • Boosted profits by over 50%.
    • Elevated employee retention by 25% and engagement by a whopping 58%!
  • Boots on the Ground: Worked hands-on with three skilled trades businesses, plus dozens of local business owners and leaders through coaching, mapping sessions, peer groups, and training.
  • Crew Leader University (Crew-U): Launched in January and graduated 22 crew leaders, helping them sharpen communication, leadership, and project management skills. Maine businesses, don’t forget about the Harold Alfond Workforce Development Grant—reach out to enroll your team in our winter/spring sessions!

2024 Milestones

Institute for Family-Owned Business:
Celebrated their 30th anniversary and facilitated the Next Gen Affinity Groups. Excited to re-launch in January—join me at their New Year’s Party on January 22nd as my guest!

Under the leadership of EO Heather Raisanen and President Travis Blake of James & Whitney Builders, this organization has become a powerhouse organization supporting Maine's Residential Construction Industry.  I am excited to continue to support and sponsor this great team!  Come join us at Cowbell Scarborough on January 16th!

Exciting New Partnership
Blazing Trails Coaching has teamed up with Mike Stair of Practical Decisions to provide high-level financial guidance to our clients. From financial statement reviews, budgeting, and forecasting, to cash flow management, this program has been a game-changer for contractors—and we’re continuing with quarterly business reviews in 2025!

Where will you find me in 2025?

I’m thrilled to announce that Blazing Trails Coaching will be an exhibitor at the Genest Bootcamp Portland on February 4th, 2025. We’ve planned some exciting giveaways and signups, and I’d love to see you there!

I’m also heading to the NAHB International Builders Show in Las Vegas this year—it’ll be my first time attending! If you’re planning to go, please reach out. I’d love the chance to connect and see some familiar faces.
